Coachella attracted some amazing headliners and attendees last weekend. Although she wasn't performing, Rihanna showed up at the Empire Polo Club on Sunday to strut her VIP stuff. Everybody likes a good music festival, and apparently that includes world-renowned pop stars. (After all, Katy Perry was there, and so was Kanye West, Cee Lo, and Cory Monteith from "Glee.")
Just like her bestie Katy Perry, Rihanna hit Coachella in a relaxed, '90s boho look of short shorts and a fedora. She was a desert vision of grunge glam. In fact, her ensemble kinda reminded us of Janeane Garofalo's retro character in Reality Bites. Next time you see Rihanna in a baby doll dress and clunky Doc Martens, or you hear her cover "Stay (I Missed You)" by Lisa Loeb, we can say we told you so.
